Phonics screening check

Our Year 1 phonics results were above the national score. 85% of Woodlands Year 1 children passed the assessment compared with nationally, in which 82% passed the assessment.

Year 4 multiplication tables check

Year 4 completed the statutory test to check for their multiplication tables. The average score out of 25 was 21.5, which is in line with the national result. 

Early Years Foundation Stage

In England, the Early Years Foundation Stage is a framework of 17 early learning goals that set standards for the learning, development, and care of children from birth to age 5. The data for our reception cohort show that they are above the national average in each of the assessment categories.
