On Saturday 26 November 2016, we held our first ever Woodlands Primary School Christmas Fair. The day before we had a Christmassy Clothes Day for all children, who wore something red or green. It gave a very festive look to the school. The day of the Fair was cold and bright and the visitors came in droves to sample the delights of the various stalls and games. Here is a message from Mrs Priestley.
What a magnificent, festive and fantastically fun first Woodlands Primary Christmas Fair! Thank you all so much for supporting us with your presence, your help, your donations and your good humour! We all had a fantastic afternoon and raised just under £6000 – AMAZING! The PTA has already committed to purchasing 16 new laptops and a trolley, new reading books for class libraries and a redevelopment of the Early Years Area. We are immensely grateful to them for their unfailing goodwill and hard work.
