All remote learning can be accessed via Microsoft Teams for Years 1 to 6. Sharepoint (as used before) is now our facility for online learning during individual bubble closures, not school-wide closures. Sharepoint will, however, be used for Year R.
Children in Year R will be provided with videos and activities for the different areas of the EYFS curriculum. Children in Years 1 and above will be have lessons and/or be set work in English, maths, spelling/phonics, reading and one foundation lesson each day. These will be set via Teams assignments. English and maths work should be submitted by 1pm each day if this is possible, to allow staff to check through and adjust learning accordingly for the next day. Teachers who are in school teaching children of critical workers will not be able to respond to their pupils in the same way as those working at home. Therefore, we will be taking a year-group approach.
Any pupils without a device (these can be applied for at school via firstname.lastname@example.org) or without internet access, can request paper-based learning from their class teacher. Any parent wishing to opt out of the Microsoft Teams approach, but with internet access, can use Oak National Academy or BBC Bitesize websites, or similar.
A member of staff will contact every child each week to check in with them and their families.
Below you will find videos that will help you to log into your child's SharePoint and Teams account.
